We are looking for an Accounts Payable & Treasury Associate to join our team. This position provides support to various aspects of the accounting department, which include, but are not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, journal entries/account reconciliations, banking/treasury transactions and processes.

Essential Duties

  • A/P Entry and Check runs
  • Invoice verification and approval process
  • A/R - Corporate Billbacks, Intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepare bank deposits and related notices
  • Wire/ACH entry within banking platform(s)
  • Download/distribute monthly bank statements
  • Record cash activity to the general ledger (Corporate and Real Estate)
  • Daily Reconciliations – Cash Reporting
  • Corporate account reconciliations, journal entries

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an accounting major preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Banking/Treasury experience required
  • Software experience in Yardi preferred
  • Exposure to Real Estate is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Required Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and operate with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledgeable and proficient at performing tasks using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.) and other company utilized systems, programs, and software
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Self-starter who can work well independently as well as with others on a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
