Hybrid Accounting Manager

Global Advertising/Marketing Agency that loves to promote from within, is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team based in Fort Lauderdale. This role will report into the Assistant Controller! This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in office.

Job Function

• Owning the month end and quarter end close process for multiple agencies
• Being the main point of contact with internal and external audits and assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley testing
• Assisting the Director and CFO with improving policies, procedures and controls and applying best practices
• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations
• Overseeing a team of staff and senior accountants both in the US and off-shore
  
  
  

Job Requirement

• BS in Accounting and at least 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Work experience in Media or Advertising preferred but not required
• Experience working in a large global company or another shared service center is a plus
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• CPA a plus
• Strong Excel skills are required- PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc
• Knowledge of a large ERP system is required
