- Project Oversight:
- Manage daily construction site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align on objectives.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect work performed to ensure it meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact the quality or timeline of the project.
- Safety Management:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines on the construction site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders, including project managers and clients.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Certifications:
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Additional certifications like PMP, LEED AP, or First Aid/CPR are a plus.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
