Surgical Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible general surgeon to cover 20-25 shifts monthly with responsibilities at multiple locations. This is an ongoing position involving clinic, elective OR, and on-call duties for general surgery cases. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong sense of professionalism.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Clinic Duties: Assess scheduled patients and determine the need for surgery; coordinate surgery schedules with the OR team.
- Rounding: Morning rounds with another surgeon and APP.
- Procedures: Bread and butter general surgery procedures including appendectomy, gallbladder surgery, and endoscopies (upper & lower scopes).
- On-Call Duties: Provide 24-hour clinic and call shifts (minimum of 2 days per week).
