Food Service Team Lead

Job Description

The Food Service Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assign tasks to team members to promote efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring quality, quantity, and timing objectives are met.
• Inspect the kitchen and work areas daily to ensure proper sanitation and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members on customer service, quality control, food safety, and cleanliness.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and escalate concerns to management as needed.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent required; prior experience in food service supervisor role preferred.
• Must be Serv Safe certified or willing to obtain certification within 90 days of entering position.
• Basic knowledge of food service sanitation and proper food handling skills required.

This position requires a positive and professional attitude, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
