Job Description
The Food Service Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assign tasks to team members to promote efficiency and productivity.
- Supervise the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring quality, quantity, and timing objectives are met.
- Inspect the kitchen and work areas daily to ensure proper sanitation and maintenance.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members on customer service, quality control, food safety, and cleanliness.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and escalate concerns to management as needed.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required; prior experience in food service supervisor role preferred.
- Must be Serv Safe certified or willing to obtain certification within 90 days of entering position.
- Basic knowledge of food service sanitation and proper food handling skills required.
