Banquet Bartender - Wichita Country Club

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and personable Banquet Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service during banquet events, ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will excel in managing large crowds, crafting a variety of cocktails and beverages, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage the bar area for events, including arranging bar equipment, supplies, and garnishes.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and event specifications.
• Pay close attention to event notes and requirements to ensure that guest needs are met as discussed with the events team.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service, adhering to all legal and safety guidelines.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about drink options and making recommendations as needed.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately, including managing tabs and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event, including restocking supplies and managing inventory.
• Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of the bar area after events, ensuring all items are properly stored and the area is left in excellent condition.
• Collaborate with other banquet staff to ensure smooth and efficient service and address any guest requests or issues promptly.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food and beverage handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or event setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
• Ability to lift 15-20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
