About the Role
We are seeking an experienced marketing and business development professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Marketing and Business Development-Litigation. This role will play a critical part in driving business growth and enhancing our firm's reputation through strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Develops and executes strategic marketing plans that reinforce business development priorities for assigned practice groups
- Manages internal and external resources to execute marketing activities, including presentations, RFP responses, thought leadership activities, and client relationship events
- Identifies speaking and authorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations
- Evaluates sponsorship and event opportunities and provides recommendations to practice groups and lawyers
- Analyzes competitors through marketing research
- Works with practice groups to coordinate assessments of emerging industry trends and issues to provide insights on service offerings
Requirements
This role requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong proofreading, written, and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years' experience in strategic marketing and business development in a professional services environment, preferably at a law firm.
