```Responsibilities:``` - Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner - Calculate and enter deductions, bonuses, and commissions - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations - Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues - Generate payroll reports for management review - Maintain accurate employee records in the payroll system - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters ```Qualifications:``` - Strong knowledge of 10 key typing and data entry skills - Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices - Experience with Paychex or similar payroll software - Familiarity with debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping - Ability to analyze and interpret financial data - Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other HRIS systems is a plus - Experience with journal entries and general ledger accounting - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work - Strong organizational and time management skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
