What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager - Wild Adventures Safari Campground position at Wild Adventures Theme Park?
- Assist in all campground operations, including maintenance to all buildings-structures and HVAC, food and beverage equipment, stormwater, well and domestic water, electrical power, trash removal, pest control, plumbing, and lighting
- Assist in main store upkeep and guest check in reservations
- Ability to assess projects to determine appropriate tools and materials needed for quick and efficient completion
- Ability to assess and provide creative ideas to perform and complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to earn the respect of others with a positive attitude and help others with a good work ethic to get tasks completed
- Ensure park is ready for operation each day visibly and functionally at a high standard
- Coordinate, supervise, and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with established schedules
- Inspect campground facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs
- Coordinate and perform the maintenance of tools and equipment
- Ability to identify and communicate necessary project materials
- Problem-solve unique challenges to get tasks completed in a safe and appropriate manner
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, landscaping equipment, skid steers, backhoes, and lulls
- Ensure all equipment/materials in area of responsibility are in good repair, performing or coordinating preventative maintenance and repair as required/appropriate, working within budget constraints
- Maintain inventory of all supplies/materials and equipment, developing plans for repair/replace
- Take a lead role in executions of special events from the perspective of advanced needs with buildouts and setups.
- Provide leadership and direction to the facilities team on an ongoing basis, ensuring 100% productivity
- Must have knowledge of carpentry plumbing
- Ensure that the overall assigned operation meets the company standards for service, safety, cleanliness, and labor and financial efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate laws and industry standards
- Assist, cooperate with, and coordinate operations with other Wild Adventures divisions and departments
- Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
- Satisfy Wild Adventures’ standards for performance and conduct. For example, report to work regularly and on time
- Create “Memories Worth Repeating” for our guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
Required- 3 - 5 years: Construction Maintenance
- 1 - 2 years: Supervisory
