Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will drive growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities in the trade show, event production, and experiential marketing sectors. The role offers a flexible schedule, requiring approximately 10-15 hours per week, with a highly competitive pay structure that includes hourly compensation and a generous commission on closed deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target new business opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients in the trade show, event production, or experiential marketing industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and align our services accordingly.
- Leverage your existing network or industry contacts to generate leads and drive business growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase our agency's services and creative solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful execution of signed projects.
- Meet and exceed sales targets to maximize commission earnings.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within trade shows, event production, or experiential marketing.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the experiential marketing industry and client needs within verticals like retail, tech, automotive, healthcare, or consumer goods.
- Network: Ideally, candidates should come with an existing portfolio of clients or a target vertical list to pursue.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to close deals, achieve sales goals, and manage client relationships.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive results in a part-time role.
