What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Manager position at Will County Health Department?
Brief Description: This position is responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective workflow for patient scheduling and registration by developing an informed and professional staff, ensuring accurate provider schedules, and collaborating with key positions within the Agency for improved outcomes. It oversees the patient registration staff and patient call center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Serve as a manager on duty rotation, working a Saturday approximately once every two months.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of experience at supervisory level in a healthcare setting. One (1) year of experience with an Electronic Health Record system. One (1) year of experience with medical practice schedule management.
