Residential Assisted Living Administrator

Job Summary
The Assisted Living Administrator plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our assisted living facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that residents receive high-quality care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for residents, particularly those with dementia or other care needs.

Duties

• Manage and supervise daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management to maintain high standards of care.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights and regulatory standards in all aspects of care delivery.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for residents, particularly those requiring specialized dementia care.
• Maintain financial oversight through budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure the facility operates within its means while providing exceptional care.
• Foster a positive community atmosphere by engaging residents in activities that promote their well-being and social interaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management within a healthcare or assisted living setting.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of home care practices and resident rights regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in managing care services for residents with varying needs, including dementia care.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
• A compassionate approach to caregiving with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents in a retirement home setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
