- Education Level: Masters Degree or above with an emphasis in Special Education
- Certification: Special Education
- Experience desired: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Process Coordinator preferred
- Other Requirements: CPI Trained - Training will be provided by Willard Public Schools
- Complete the screening sheets for transfer and new referral records
- Contact parents regarding the evaluation process, as needed
- Obtain permission for evaluations for initial referrals, as needed
- Contact previous school districts in order to obtain necessary information to develop an IEP (interim for transfer students)
- Attend IEP meetings
- Oversee evaluation process K-12
- Organize and ensure completion of evaluation reports
- Assist with testing, staffing, and special education teachers' development of IEPs and obtain placement permission
- Proofread and approve evaluation reports written by teachers and counselors
- Be available to teachers and other school personnel as consultant
- Assist with testing for ECSE and State School children
- Be available to attend meetings before and after school as needed
- Assist the Executive Director of Student Services in researching and/or implementing new program components
- Develop, provide, and promote regular in service training to special education staff regarding special education procedures and assist mainstream classroom teachers with inclusion facilitation.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Executive Director of Student Services.
