What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch Clerk position at Williams Tank Lines?
Fuel Transportation Company currently looking to fill a position for our Dispatch Department.
Training schedule is 6-8 weeks M-F 8AM - 5PM. after training the schedule is 5 P.M. - 4 A.M. on a 4 on - 4 off rotation.
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for typing orders and assisting dispatch. Monitoring station sales as well as communicating with customers.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Monitor station sales
Prioritize orders by runout
Planning shift by driver qualification
Maximize loaded mileage
Monitor drivers shift to ensure loads are delivered within customer window
Monitor email with customers request for eta
Call customers making proper documentation into dispatch system
Give drivers start time according to when truck will be back
Import order or enter loads in to dispatch system.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to handle multiple phone calls throughout shift.
Must be flexible, able to work weekends and holidays.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once.
Excellent Data entry skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft office products.
Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
Able to lift 10-15 pounds.
Desired Qualifications:
1-3 Years in Truck or Fuel industry experience
