Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Leads and coordinates a variety of sophisticated projects with significant impact to our organization
- Understands business requirements, project risks and project lifecycle
- Applies expertise and leadership skills to advise staff and to resolve issues
- Measures and reports project performance to our leadership team
- Cultivates relationship with our clients and company partners; mentors others
- Collaborates with others on software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, modern testing methodologies and deployment management
- Uses business applications for competitive advantage
- Applies knowledge of business challenges to improve products, processes or services
- Interprets internal/external customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies responses
- Conducts detailed assessments of IT systems for potential acquisitions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify risks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance
- Develops and implements project plans for IT system compatibility and integration, ensuring seamless post-acquisition migration and data/system integration
- Leads fast-paced projects, managing complex financials, equipment procurement, and installation activities to ensure successful project execution
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or engineering; minimum seven (7) years’ experience in project management with a minimum three (3) years’ experience in information technology or minimum eleven (11) years’ related business experience
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Demonstrates strong organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Has developed conceptual and practical expertise in own field
- Preferred: Experience leading the IT portion of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Preferred: Experience leading IT and OT system integrations
- Skilled in managing ambiguity, strategic thinking, and instilling trust across project teams on confidential projects
