What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Municipal Clerk position at Willingboro Township?
Willingboro Township is hiring a Deputy Municipal Clerk with a Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) certification. Candidates must possess excellent communication, computer, interpersonal, and organizational skills. While RMC certification is preferred, applicants with five years of local government experience and knowledge of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-133 may also be considered.
Key responsibilities include acting as secretary to the Mayor and Council by preparing agendas, drafting meeting minutes, resolutions, and ordinances, attending meetings, handling OPRA requests, serving as the Chief Administrative Officer of Elections, managing licensing, and performing other assigned duties.
