Summary
The Los Angeles office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Legal Technology Adoption Advisor. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 15 offices in six countries.
The Legal Technology Adoption Advisor plays a key role in optimizing the use of technology in the Willkie environment, acting as a trusted liaison between attorneys, staff, and the IT department. This individual will observe workflows, assess technology needs, and advise on the adoption of existing and emerging legal technologies. The goal is to drive higher utilization of existing tools, improve process efficiency, and provide mentorship to ensure comfort and productivity with technology solutions. The Legal Technology Adoption Advisor is a key member of the Learning & Technology Adoption (LTA) team within Information Technologies larger Knowledge Management & Innovation group.

Responsibilities
- Observe legal workflows and application usage across various departments and practices to identify areas for process improvement and technology adoption.
- Offer suggestions for refining legal workflows and conduct audits to ensure that current processes are optimized. Identify where specific apps and technologies can assist in improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for better adoption of Willkie technology solutions across various legal practices. Focus on bringing higher utilization of current systems and apps to improve workflow efficiency.
- Work closely with other IT departments to ensure seamless adoption of new technologies and smooth transitions during technology rollouts.
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching to attorneys and staff, increasing comfort and proficiency with legal technology. Analyze help desk and coaching data to identify areas for improvement in technology use.
- Use visual mapping techniques to document and refine processes and procedures, identifying any gaps that could be improved with technology solutions.
- Collect and analyze feedback on technology adoption rates, user satisfaction, and overall effectiveness. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve technology implementation across the firm.
- High-Touch User Support - Serve as the first point of contact for attorneys and staff in local offices, providing personalized support. Differentiate between how-to issues and technical problems, submitting tickets on behalf of users when needed.
- Act as the primary liaison between local attorneys, the Help Desk, and the Knowledge Management & Innovation teams, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of technology-related concerns.
- Perform Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in or alongside legal teams is required to understand the unique needs of legal professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort presenting in front of large groups.
- Strong ability to analyze workflows, identify process gaps, and suggest technology-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with business process analysis and improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
- Ability to provide mentorship and training on technology tools to improve attorney and staff efficiency.
- Proficiency in visually mapping out workflows and procedures to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Experience in providing personalized, high-touch technology support to senior attorneys, partners, and staff.
- Comfortable analyzing trends in user technology needs and providing actionable insights to improve technology adoption.
- Ability to differentiate between operational issues and technical issues, acting as a key contact for escalating or resolving problems as necessary.

- Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
- Ability to carry light to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.

Pay Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.Pay Range Statement
The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
