Position Overview
A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support key business functions, including investment teams, marketing, client relations, portfolio analysis, risk reporting, and corporate development. This role will play a critical part in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, providing consultative support to senior leaders, and driving people-related initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and managers, ensuring HR strategies align with business goals.
- Design, implement, and oversee talent management programs, including performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and coaching.
- Utilize data analytics to identify workforce trends, assess root causes, and develop impactful HR solutions. Present HR insights to senior leadership.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on enhancing management capabilities, team dynamics, and employee engagement.
- Act as a liaison between various departments to share best practices and ensure cohesive organizational initiatives.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by embedding inclusive practices into all HR programs and policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within financial services or a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.
- Expertise in California labor and employment laws.
- Proven ability to leverage data analytics to drive HR decision-making and business outcomes.
