- You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career.
- You’ll be an active member of our engineering team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.
- You’ll be introduced to Wilson & Company’s culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice.
- You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
- This is a year-round paid opportunity that could lead to full-time employment upon graduation!
- Working knowledge of MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD and/or Civil3D drafting/design programs a plus, but not necessary. You will receive significant hands-on and tutorial training on any number of these as an employee.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel required.
- Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work anticipated.
- Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.
- Highly responsible and dependable.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and an impeccable work ethic.
- Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer.
- Civil engineering student with an interest in a structural or bridge related career.
- Registered as a Junior or a Senior in a local college or university.
