The Role
Wilson Daniels Wholesale is seeking Connecticut Sales Representatives to achieve profitable sales objectives in Hartford County areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote brands and increase brand awareness by increasing visibility and conducting staff training/education programs within accounts.
- Develop new business relationships with decision makers, identifying potential customers and developing a business plan to reach them.
- Execute sales strategies, objectives, goals, and targeted revenue generation by partnering with key retailers and establishments in the specified market.
- Have extensive knowledge of company products and their features and benefits compared to competition.
- Prepare professional sales presentations for each account call tailored to current supplier programs and customer needs.
- Gain knowledge of customer's business operations and coordinate multiple options for selling company products to each.
- Assist and participate in trade and consumer events.
- Meet annual shipment and performance goals.
Requirements
- Possess drive, motivation, and attention to detail to ensure all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
- Wine knowledge preferred.
- Passion for learning about the wine industry and/or selling/educating required.
- Established working relationships with key accounts in given territory.
- Ability to make smart business decisions based on growing sales, profitability, and market shares.
- Proven track record of successful selling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and objection handling skills.
- Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills and ability to close deals.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience in selling domestic and international fine and luxury wine preferred.
- Brand building and outside sales experience preferred.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and Pocket Advantage experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedule depending on customer needs.
- CSW certification or ability to obtain preferred.
