We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the wine industry who can effectively promote our French wine portfolio to key stakeholders. To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years in the wine industry, in a sales or marketing role directly interacting with trade, distributors, and consumers.
- Extensive knowledge of French wine and the competitive landscape for French wine in the US market.
- Drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
- Established working relationships with key accounts.
- Proven track record of successful selling in the French fine wine category.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and objection handling skills.
- Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills and the ability to close deals.
- Brand building and external sales experience is preferred.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT a must).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule depending upon the needs of customers.
- French language and cultural fluency is strongly preferred.
