Assembly Operator (2nd or 3rd Shift)

Olin Winchester, LLC ("Winchester"), considered one of the world's leading ammunition manufacturers,is seeking AssemblyOperators for 2nd and 3rd shift.This position will be located at the Oxford, Mississippi facility. Assembly Operators start at $17.34/hour with an increase to $19.18/hour after successfully completing 90 days.

Essential Functions*:

• Kneads materials into metal plates to charge shell cases and places product into mechanical and hydraulic presses
• Performs visual inspections of shells and packing them into cartons and cases
• Operates loaders and packers, assembling, inspecting, and packaging of small tedious components
• Occasional material handling up to 50 pounds
• Operates and controls various machines used in the manufacturing production process

Position Requirements*:

• Minimum of one year of recent continuous employment history
• Manufacturing and/or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekends as required
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required
• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• PriorWinchesterexperience in a relevant position preferred
