Position Summary:
As our Inventory Cable Cutter you will be responsible for verifying and record keeping of all cables in inventory. You will also be responsible for fulfilling work orders for cable based on priority.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Communicate effectively with all Co-workers
- 6 Months Cable cutting experience
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate the successful completion of multiple projects at the same time
- Must be able to pick up and carry 50 lbs comfortably, and have the ability to climb steps multiple times in a shift.
- Experience using a scan gun/label printer/tablet/ tape measure/mechanical counters

- The Order Picker collaborates across Winchester in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable, and utilizes data to make informed decisions. They work with management, employees, vendors, and customers to have a positive impact on the organization.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory counts
- Cutting released cable orders, based on the priorities of production
- Return cable to inventory from work orders when jobs are complete by reconciling work orders and reverse consuming where applicable
- For keeping your area clean and free of debris by the close of every shift
- Documenting the usage of cable with the necessary paperwork
- Support Manufacturing by focusing on monthly revenue with inventory transactions and adjustments
- Identify and remove any constraints or process slow downs in the cable area to improve efficiency and communicate them to your supervisor
- Strengthen/build your department resources to align personnel and achieve the best results. (cycle counting, cross training, organization, and accurate consumption)
- Collaborate frequently with other departments to ensure priorities for OTD is met, and customer communication is supported
