Summary:
WindRiver offers a wide variety of amenities, including the WindRiver Club Pool & Snack Bar. As the Pool Attendant, you will provide excellent and proactive customer service for all our Members. You will be responsible for pool operations and cleanliness, enforcing security and safety, and attending to the Snack Bar. This is a seasonal position, starting in early to mid-May 2025 and ending on September 1, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the Snack Bar, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adequate inventory.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Prepare and assemble food items.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
- Restock food and beverage supplies as needed throughout the day.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment (microwaves, toasters, etc.) safely and responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area and serving counter.
- Monitor and assist with food deliveries from the Grill to the Pool area.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for Members and Guests.
- Oversee pool area cleanliness, organization, and safety, including restrooms, seating, and sport courts.
- Greet and assist Members, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to Club policies.
- Enforce pool entry regulations, validate Member identification, and manage Guest Pass distribution.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance for pool upkeep, including chemical balance and trash removal.
- Ensure all equipment and utilities are properly managed at opening and closing.
- Provide reports on shift activities and pool attendance to management.
- Support additional Food & Beverage, Event, and Club operations as needed.
- Attend staff meetings for training, safety, and operational updates.
Qualifications:
- One year of experience at a hotel, resort, or club pool is a plus.
- Current TN ABC license or the ability to obtain or renew a license within 60 days of hire.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- High school diploma preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and afternoon/evening shifts.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt and make decisions based on business or Member needs.
- Basic math and money-handling skills.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, kneel, lift, push, climb stairs and pull items weighing up to 55lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment for up to 8 hours at a time in varying weather conditions.
