The ideal candidate will administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. This role involves working closely with medical professionals to follow patient treatment plans.
The Radiation Oncology Program at The Queen's Medical Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology. Our team provides care to cancer patients of all ages who benefit from radiation therapy.
The scope of care includes:
- External beam radiation with intensive monitoring therapy
- Low and high dose rate brachytherapy
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery
- Total body irradiation
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A current Hawaii State license as a Radiation Therapist
- Current certification in CPR at Healthcare Professional level
Preferred qualifications include experience as a Radiation Therapist.
This position offers a fast-paced work environment and requires exposure to radiation, body fluids, communicable diseases, and mechanical/electrical units.
