Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will engage with customers through various channels, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicates with customers via phone, email, and fax.
- Provides price and lead time quotes on both Baldor and ABB products.
- Educates customers on terminology, features, and benefits of products.
- Enters orders, return authorizations, and credits as needed in a timely manner.
- Supports in training new hires.
- Increases average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.
- Works with trucking companies and couriers to ensure timely delivery of the products.
- Informs customers proactively on estimated shipment dates and expedites as needed and clarifies their doubts.
- Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire sales process. Acts as a point of escalation for technical issues reported by customers.
- Develops meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty. Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates.
- Recommends appropriate solutions for customer requests and coordinates with related teams to ensure end to end handling of requests is in place.
- Collaborates effectively with the outside sales team and sales leadership to grow the current customer base with additional products/services through referrals and introductions.
- Sells proactively on existing accounts.
- Informs existing customers of new pricing structures, changes in service, answers questions on product lines, etc.
- Conducts open orders report per assigned customer.

Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, Previous customer service or sales experience Excellent communication, telephone, computation, and problem-solving skills.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Order processing systems and Inventory software.
Inside sales operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
