Description
To develop, implement, and provide trainings on IPV to hospital patients and personnel on behalf of WINGS Program, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and revise and training materials on a regular basis for the Hospital Program.
· Manage ongoing trainings to hospital personnel on issues related to Intimate Partner Violence.
· Coordinate and facilitate with Manager Hospital Services monthly partnership meetings between WINGS and the hospital.
· Develop and implement hospital Anti-Violence Month activities (DV, Teen Dating, etc.)
· Network with local township, social service, and community agencies to educate the community about WINGS services, to build collaboration.
· Lead community presentations to educate on issues related to Domestic Violence.
· Provides direct service in the form of bedsides, crisis intervention, emotional support, and conflict resolution, when needed.
· Ensure documentation in records in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion in accordance with agency policies and funding requirements.
· Ensure administrative responsibilities and reporting are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with agency and supervisor requirements.
· Work with Development staff to establish indicators and outcomes measures, ensure accurate data collection and reporting, and ensure timely submission of all reports.
· Attend Agency and Hospital administrative meetings as required and collaborate with other staff as needed.
· Immediately report child abuse to the Department of Children and Family Services as mandated by law and in accordance with agency procedures.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or closely related field, required.
· 2 years of experience with homeless families, victims of domestic violence, or other trauma related populations, required
· Experience in Public Speaking in a Professional and Clinical Setting and in providing professional presentations, required.
· 40 hour domestic violence training and CPR/First Aid Certification, preferred.
· Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP) Certification, preferred.
· Bilingual skills (Spanish, Polish, or Russian), preferred.

· Strong working knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite along with excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
· Possess the ability to work efficiently and independently and be highly organized with attention to detail along with strong project management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Skilled in handling sensitive issues, responding appropriately in emergency situations and maintaining professional boundaries.
· Must have access to reliable transportation.
· Must be willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
