Slot Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs periodic maintenance on slot machines and signage and shall operate such in accordance with the ordinance adopted by the Winnebago Gaming Commission and the Winnebago Tribal Council.

JOB DUTIES:

• Performs periodic preventative maintenance procedures on slot machines and signage.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions on slot machines.
• Maintains security and accountability of funds entrusted.
• Ensures all facilities and equipment are functioning properly within the department.
• Participates in the installation/removal of hopper load funds.
• Maintains good customer relations.
• Always perform duties in a positive and professional manner.
• Adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must attend training & meetings as directed by management.
• Performs all duties as assigned.

AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISORY CAPACITY

· Possesses authority needed to accomplish 1 – 10 above.

SIGNATURE AUTHORITY:

• Slot Machine keys (door and jackpot reset)
• Machine access card
• Debit/Credit receipt
• Slot drop cabinet key with security escort.
• Slot machine board access keys with Executive and Gaming Commission approval.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

• Slot machine interiors
• Slot repair shop
• Slot drop cabinet with security escort.
• Slot machine board compartment with Gaming Commission.
• With Security escort in accordance with Internal Controls.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Comprehensive computer skills.
• 1 to 2 years in the Slot Department as a Floor Associate and/or Slot Maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of slot machine theory and operation required.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical components required.
• 6. Good organizational and clerical skills required.
• Must be able to obtain gaming license.
• Bi-cultural experience preferred.
• Native American preference.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

1. Must have a telephone.

2. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

3. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 100 lbs.

4. Must be able to interact successfully with associates and guests.

5. Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods of time, with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.81 - $22.62 per hour
