As a Bookkeeper at our family entertainment center, you will be responsible for managing
records, tracking transactions, and ensuring accurate and organized financial data. Your
meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in accounting principles, and strong organizational
skills will contribute to the effective financial management of the center. This job description
outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets.
2. Accounts Payable:
- Process vendor invoices, ensure accuracy, and schedule payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Accounts Receivable:
- Manage customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with guests or clients to address billing inquiries.
4. Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accurate account balances.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors.
5. Financial Reporting:
- Generate regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash
flow statements.
- Prepare financial summaries for management review.
6. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in creating and monitoring budgets, providing insights into financial performance.
- Collaborate with management to develop financial forecasts and projections.
