Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Retail and Demonstrations, the Regional Manager – Retail (RMR) is responsible for leading and developing Field Talent and managing a geographical area for a focused group of clients within Winston Zones, managed by other Winston Regional Managers, ensuring that all projects are staffed and appropriately executed. The Regional Manager- Retail will collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Account Training, as well as other Regional Managers and Recruiting teams to ensure 100% execution of all client projects.
Job Duties
Ensure that all projects are flawlessly executed and delivered against both Winston Standards and client expectations.
- Responsible for leading and developing Field Talent ensuring that all client projects are 100%.
- Strategically staff projects minimizing travel expenses and overtime.
- Oversee staffing a geographic area and provide guidance on calendars and budgets to staff projects..
- Collaborate with Recruiting and other Regional Managers to fill open positions/locations.
- Report on staffing ratios, opportunities and risks by project, and completion rates weekly and monthly in cross- functional business meetings.
- Provide coaching and guidance as needed for execution issues and reporting.
- Communicate cross-functionally regarding the progress and completion of projects in the assigned geographical.
Assist with building a field team that represents the Winston Brand.
- Staff projects with talent that reflect our brand image – ensuring projects are done on time and within budget by dedicated coordinators.
- Provide timely feedback to Field Talent to improve execution. Identify, evaluate, and elevate talent to support succession planning in the field.
- Create a “Field First” mentality by engaging teams, celebrating success, and coaching opportunities leading to minimal field turnover.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Schedule flexibility to include weekends when required
- Must be nimble and agile with an ability to multi-task and problem-solve
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including presenting new ideas in an organized and detailed manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills across a wide range of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Technologically strong with experience working in proprietary systems.
Education and Experience
- 2-year degree; 4-year or advanced degree a plus
- 1-3 years of leadership experience managing a team of 2 or more within a wholesale, retail, or store organization
