We have a new opening for a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in several human resources disciplines. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the department while also providing proactive personnel support to our off-site managers. The ability to multi-task and pivot is critical for this role.
Our next HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER will:
- Manage HR staff and plan, develop and implement HR activities, policies and procedures
- Manage activities related to talent acquisition and onboarding
- Oversees activities related to payroll and benefits administration
- Directs and oversees the company performance management
- Leads activities related to employee relations and the overall employee experience
- Oversees local, state and federal compliance including, but not limited to, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, OSHA, EEOC, ADA, ACA, etc.
- Maintains HR systems to support accurate and confidential data and efficient operations
- Complete special projects as needed
To perform this work you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience leading the HR function for a minimum of 6 years.
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Knowledge in a variety of HR functions including but not limited to, payroll, recruitment, job analysis, compensation, employee relations, and compliance
- Proven problem solving skills and sound judgement
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and HRIS databases
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
- The ability to remain stationary 75% of the time
- Ability to position, detect and operate office machinery including keyboards and phones
- Capable of traversing in order to access cabinets and office equipment
