Shipping/Receiving Associate

The Shipping & Receiving Associate isresponsible for ensuring that the physically counted inventory matches the inventory system with the highest possible accuracy. The role also facilitates key shipping and receiving processes.

• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts.
• Efficiently and accurately picks product to fill orders.
• Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse.
• Prepare and receive shipments of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Supports order processing for eCommerce sales.
• Member of internal food defense team.
• Assists Operations Management in managing traceability program.
• Other duties as necessary

Education/Training

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a warehouse inventory role preferred
• Prior experience in a perishable food industry desired

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• Forklift certification required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a cold environment for long periods of time
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
