What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Maintenance Lead position at Wisenbaker Builder Services, Inc.?
Job Purpose
A day in the life of the maintenance lead, you will be a “Jack of All Trades”. The days will be as varied as they will be challenging so don’t be afraid of the routine. Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain production lines and facility equipment, and manage the inventory items for maintenance are just a few of the responsibilities under your umbrella. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- the plant facility’s equipment.
- Perform duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines and facilities
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust as needed according to manufacturer specifications. Look up and get the correct machine part details to the inventory specialist to get the machine running properly.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Conduct weekly meetings with the maintenance team and communicate daily PMs, scheduled repairs, and plan of attack on unscheduled repairs.
- Be responsible for Inventory monitoring; daily check-ins with Inventory Specialist.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
- 4 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Proven track record of improving maintenance processes and driving operational efficiency.
