UHNW Family with 1 baby seeks a dynamic full time live-in nanny. Family splits time between Upstate New York and Florida, with occasional travel. The Nanny schedule will be Mon-Thur, or M-F, full days. Family is really looking for a HEAD NANNY who will assist to manage the weekend nanny. Someone flexible to swap days with the weekend nanny on occasion is important. A ROTA set-up for two nannies to work this position, where each nanny works two weeks on and two weeks off (working 5 days each working week and having 2 days off on working weeks) is being considered. This is a fully staffed home, with a personal chef, housekeepers and the like. There is a cat and dog - nanny must be allergy-free!
Nanny Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in similar roles - UHNW and live-in experience a must
- Has worked with multiple staff, a co-nanny and candidates with experience as a head nanny on a team is a plus
- Experienced driver swimmer
- Nannies who speak Spanish will be given strong preference as family would like to immerse the child with this language
- Preference for someone educated in Early Childhood and/or a child-related field. Higher education in the form of certifications in child development is great as well.
- Excellent Communication and conflict resolution skills, with an easygoing yet professional demeanor
- Excellent references; family is requiring they speak directly to the two most recent employers
Compensation: This role offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package. $35 /per hour will be offered to candidate and the annual compensation will be $110,000k depending on the number of hours as the schedule is still being decided upon. Health insurance benefits and PTO included.
