Description: :The Commercial Estimator plays a vital role in the Commercial Sales Department by providing accurate, timely bids for all products supplied by Morse Sash and Door. This position requires consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is achieved. As part of our team, you'll contribute to the growth of the company and support the collaborative efforts within the department.

Reports to: Commercial Sales Coordinator
Compensation: $23 - $28 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Occasional Overtime Required)
Work Authorization: US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Open and review incoming bids and updates on a frequent basis.
- Update commercial department job file with any information pertaining to the job.
- General De-Scope of incoming bid request within 12-24 hours
- Review bid requests with commercial sales coordinator to determine if we will bid the job.
- Download all prints and files, place in commercial cabinet following filing guidelines.
- Review product categories with commercial sales coordinator.
- Organizing bids and project documents.
- Complete general small bids and quotes as needed.
- Perform hands off meetings with project managers as needed.
- Update commercial sales coordinator and commercial department manager on all bids, problems, or opportunities as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
