GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The VP of Wofford Companies is required to manage operations and finances for the business, as well as provide interpersonal management and relevant outbound marketing and customer relations. One must have extremely good communication, a strong work ethic and the ability to legislate and manage multiple aspects of the business.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cultivate relationships with community leaders and organizations to ensure strong connections
Develop and manage key client relationships
Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions
Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team
Deploy data and research to drive cross-business corporate prioritization
Review and approve scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for various assigned construction projects
Responsible for monitoring resource levels in the field against baseline scheduled resources on projects as it relates to managing project delivery
Responsible for ensuring capital projects are constructed in compliance with architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, addendums, and contractual provisions.
Review and act on all Go/No-Go’s
Provide primary managerial direction and perform personnel administrative functions of direct report staff (e.g. training, supervising, work assignments, timesheets, performance evaluations, etc.) for maintaining necessary staffing, enhancing productivity of staff and ensuring necessary department outcomes are achieved.
Establish and drive a profitable culture throughout all levels of the organization
Strategy formation and business planning – develop annual business plan
Market segmentation strategies as required to develop a competitive advantage
Prepare annual budget and Quarterly Forecasts to be reported on in Quarterly meetings with Managing Members
Responsible for construction management budget, special reports, and executive summaries of construction progress for assigned projects.
Review and approve requests for progress payments and change orders for construction contracts
Plan and monitor daily activities of the business to ensure smooth progress
Regularly evaluate the efficiency of operation procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the company’s behalf
Organize meetings, including scheduling and sending reminders, when necessary
Perform accounting duties for job costing purposes
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
