The Account Manager coordinates, facilitates, and communicates directly with customers about product while significantly supporting and influencing sales. Assist team with build out, upsell, cross-sell, renewal, and expansion campaigns to bring in new revenue for the company. Generating opportunities, Inbound leads, identifies features and benefits, with solution base approach, overcomes customer objections, retain and hunt to close sales. Directly supports the VP of Sales and Sales Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- New Business Development.
- Identify new business opportunities for product expansion.
- Execute on company directives in new market segments.
- Accountable for goals and execution of programs.
- Account development and implement strategic business strategies.
- Aggressively growing existing accounts by implementing product training and safety certifications.
- Key partnerships for business development maximizing current program opportunities.
- Train and motivate customers to maintain in-store displays, assess customer needs, and identify upsell opportunities.
- Develop & maintain clear communication regarding sales team initiatives.
- Take ownership of all related documents and customer request(s) thru proactive communication and activities documenting this support in Acumatica.
- Provide information to customers regarding WPI’s warranty and return policies.
- Maintain and grow group of accounts assigned.
- Train for and effectively participate in Tradeshows; May include occasional travel.
- Tradeshow follow-up, retention calls; new customer, sales opportunities, and three -week follow-up calls are completed daily.
- Help target Specific markets and demographic areas to increase sales and new products.
- Communicate knowledge by word of mouth, via email, phone, and support all marketing materials that are to be sent to customers.
- Accurately answer any customer inquiries regarding new technology and designs.
- Follow-up on all leads using the qualifications tree.
- Participate in sales team meetings to establish guidelines, goals, and new procedures.
- Communicate all special pricing and programs to Sales Team and Sales Operations Team.
- Close all sales related opportunities.
- Follow the promo guidelines in place to help reach goals while staying within the company guidelines.
- Help control free goods. Staying within our sample budget and use of free goods as an extra incentive for special circumstances.
- Proactively identify and engage existing customers who are “high churn risks”.
- Become the “voice of the customer” and communicate feedback to internal stakeholders
About You:
- Complete understanding of Odoo ERP/CRM functions, responsibilities necessary to complete required tasks.
- Use selling techniques to build upon existing sales.
- Must be able to complete calls assigned and perform with high quality and effectiveness.
- Must be able to perform or learn the requirements of the job in the assigned learning period.
- 1 years sales experience, volume based hunter, cold calls and retention.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
- Provide previous experience sales portfolio.
