DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the Concessions/Gift Shop, Manager and Assistant Director, Food & Beverage to develop and implement best practices for receiving and storing summer seasonal inventory.
- Manage daily warehouse operations to include receiving procedures, monitoring inventory levels, product organization, storage and distribution in accordance with established safety and sanitation standards.
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Daily inspection of all storage facilities to ensure facilities are clean, orderly, and that food is properly rotated and stored.
- Ensure all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications of Wolf Trap.
- Lead, manage, and coach a team of warehouse clerks on day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
- Work with the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage on scheduling warehouse clerks to ensure optimal staffing to meet daily needs.
- Maintain temperature logs and proper receiving/storage paperwork as needed.
- Provide a weekly oral report to the Concessions/Gift Shop, Manager or Assistant Director, Food & Beverage on any issues/concerns that need to be addressed.
- Other warehouse and custodial duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Be able to lift/transfer up to 100 lbs.
- Will be responsible for a company vehicle, must have a clean driving record clear of all moving violations.
- Must be able to work 4 5 days a week, primarily weekdays, occasional evenings, including weekends.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Most be comfortable working in a hot/humid environment.
- Minimum 1 year prior warehouse or management experience or equivalent experience preferred.
