Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves selling Generac industrial generators and related products and services to customers. As an Industrial Sales Representative, you will use your extensive knowledge of products and services, selling techniques, and relationship skills to achieve sales goals for assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with end users, electrical contractors, general contractors, and/or engineering firms.
- Evaluate customer needs and product marketability for assigned territory.
- Penetrate targeted markets and opportunities within assigned territory.
- Work with Sales Support to ensure accurate and timely communication of quoted details.
- Grow market share within assigned territory by setting and meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals and objectives.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, workshops, etc. in a professional and effective manner.
- Resolve problems related to products and services as needed by working with customers and various internal functions.
- Manage budget, participate in forecasting, and maintain associated metrics.
- Consult with leadership regarding current and future products and services.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and Wolverine Power Systems' products and services.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor industrial products and services.
- Update and maintain the Generac GenConnect system with sales and customer information.
