About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Event Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize various events that support our brand presence, customer and employee engagement. This role will focus on trade shows, internal company events, and field marketing event support at sales representative offices. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience, with a heavy emphasis on tradeshow management, preferably in the equipment manufacturing, consumer durable goods or food service industry, and be skilled in event planning, logistics coordination, and post-event analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trade Show Strategy, Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning and execution of 2-3 key trade shows annually.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, booth designs, and on-site activations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, product, manufacturing, marketing and leadership) to align goals, product showcase and messaging, and overall brand presence.
  • Oversee logistics, including booth setup, vendor coordination, travel arrangements, and lead capture strategies. Must be comfortable working with cross functional teams and communicating internally to bring the show booth to life.
  • Track and analyze trade show performance to optimize future participation.

2. Internal Event Planning & Execution

  • Organize and manage 3-4 internal corporate events, such as company meetings, product launches, and training events.
  • Develop event agendas, coordinate speakers, and manage event communications.
  • Ensure a seamless event experience through effective planning and on-site execution. (including events, luncheons, and presentations)
  • Work with creative teams to develop event branding, materials, and presentations.

3. Field Marketing & Rep Office Event Support

  • Develop and maintain a quarterly marketing calendar taking place at rep offices across the US and Canada.
  • Identify marketing support needs and programs for better brand representation of Wood Stone.
  • Provide marketing support for regional sales reps' office events (e.g., product demos, customer appreciation days, local networking events).
  • Assist in creating event toolkits, promotional materials, and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure events align with business objectives and generate leads.
  • Develop a dashboard that tracks KPIs on a quarterly basis and report back to leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B event marketing, preferably in the equipment manufacturing, consumer durable goods or food service industry.
  • Proven success in trade show management, internal event planning, and field marketing support.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Must have attention to details in areas such as logistics, booth layouts, event planning and execution.
  • Experience managing event budgets, vendors, and logistics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally as well as externally.
  • Proficiency in event management platforms, CRM tools, and marketing automation preferred (e.g., Monday.Com, or similar).
  • Ability to travel as needed for event execution. Travel will be across the US for7-9 days at a time to tradeshow destination.
  • Hybrid work location but must be able to commute to Bellingham WA, on-site 4 days a week during tradeshow season from December to end of May. Key corporate event planning can be done remote but must be on-site for a day or two before & after the event.
  • Culinary experience or background a plus.
  • Must be able to be around food and food preparation and willing to step in.
