Located in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, just 45 minutes from Madison, we are a voluntary, residential substance use treatment program dedicated to transforming lives. Serving clients aged 18-65, we are a privately owned facility driven by our mission to turn every addiction story into one of sustainable sobriety. We’re looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to supervise the work activities of our Housekeeping Team and help ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms and common areas at Wood Violet Recovery.
- You will assign duties to the housekeeping staff and inspect their work.
- You will investigate any complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Wood Violet Recovery standards..
- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment as needed.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
- Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacement.
- Check inventory levels of cleaning/sanitizing supplies, and request order as needed.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
- Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required.
- Follow HIPAA Regulations.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Other duties, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
To be a Housekeeping Supervisor at Wood Violet Recovery, you should have:
- Basic knowledge of administrative functions (interpersonal communication, office etiquette, computer skills).
- Strong communication skills to convey information effectively.
- Strong work ethic and high standards of workmanship.
- Basic knowledge of HIPPA compliance and privacy measures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to successfully pass a Caregiver background check and criminal background check.
- Ability to pass drug screen per WVR policy.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- At least 1 year of sobriety if in recovery.
