Job Title: Assistant Banquet Manager
Reports To: Director of Event Operations
Position Description: Responsible for assisting in daily operations of the banquet department, ensuring a smooth event execution, and providing exceptional customer service while managing staff and inventory. Communication and organizational skills are essential in this role. The position is full-time, with a salary range between $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Checks all details and supervises the set-up for private parties and Club functions as specified on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and makes adjustments and changes as needed
- Communicates with the Banquet Office staff regarding any questions or changes needed
- Maintains and enforces established sanitation requirements
- Adheres to and reinforces standards, policies and procedures
- Checks staff members assigned to each room for timeliness, proper uniform, and station assignments
- Reviews the details of the BEO with the Banquet Manager or Director of Catering
- Assists in coordination of timing and changes with the Executive Chef, or Banquet Chef throughout the function
- Responsible for table set-ups, table numbers and assigned seating
- Develop interdepartmental relationship and use influence to achieve departmental goals
- Provides all service as specified by the BEO, and assists the Banquet Manager in responding to any additional requests of the member and guests throughout the entire function
- Responsible for all bar requisitions
- Oversees Banquet equipment inventories and equipment
- Maintains cleanliness of the skirt room. Takes monthly inventory of skirts.
- Greet and meet with the member before function begins
- Communicate all decisions and changes with the assigned staff as they arise throughout the function
- Post and adhere to side jobs checklist for staff to complete before, during and at the close of events
- Walk-through function room and banquet areas to ensure cleanliness at end of event
- Performs any and all other duties assigned by supervisor
