About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Shipboard Scientific Services Group within the Marine Operations Department.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and possess a natural ability to work independently while collaborating with others as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Shipboard Scientific Services Group, including proposal development, budget tracking, and procurement of supplies.
- Prepare and process timecards, expense reports, and vendor payments.
- Maintain team calendars, coordinate meetings, and manage document management systems.
- Collaborate with other WHOI departments as necessary for program and project functions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a non-profit setting or a similar field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and virtual meeting systems.
