Role Description: The Sales Support Team member is a role dedicated to serving our customers post sale. Once a sales order is keyed into the system, this role steps in to manage the open order until it is finalized. This work requires cross-functional coordination between the sales, merchandising, and operations departments, as well as, direct communication with Woodstock Outlet customers. The individual in this role will help to identify best practices, help innovate the process of the work, and be open and flexible to changes to the job responsibilities. This is an ever evolving nature of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing sales order transactions and customer relationships within a sales team of 3 retail sales professionals.
- Maintain proper documentation of supporting sales documents for each sales professional on the team. These items include: room sketches, sectional drawings, comfort guarantee paperwork, and completed delivery menus.
- Confirming sales order customer information, delivery dates, and merchandise to be delivered with our customers to ensure accurate, complete, and efficient service.
- Ensuring all scheduled delivery orders have merchandise filled to orders 72 hours prior to the date of delivery.
- All sales orders show a balance due of $0 3 days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
- Regular communication with the customer when back ordered merchandise exceeds 2 weeks from the sales order date to the date of delivery/pickup. o Additionally, when the backordered merchandise arrives, the customer receives prompt communication in order to schedule their delivery.
- Key comments in all sales orders with important updates, communication touch points, and any needed information for the customer record.
- Communication to Sales Management and Sales Team with pertinent updates, customer concerns, and feedback may be required.
