About Us:
Woolfie’s Bakery is a Cape Cod staple known for our legendary muffins, fresh-baked goods, fresh farm to table Colombian coffee, and loyal following. We're expanding our offerings to include house-roasted and flavored coffee, and we’re looking for a Bakery Production Specialist to help drive quality, efficiency, and consistency across both our bakery and coffee operations.
Position Overview:
The Bakery Production Specialist will be a key part of our production team, helping to carry out daily baking operations, maintain inventory, and assist with ordering. This position also plays a key role in ensuring a clean, organized, and ServSafe-compliant environment. In the off-season, this team member will carry out coffee roasting (no experience necessary - will train), flavoring, and operations in our growing coffee division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily production of muffins and baked goods
- Carry out shipping functions on Mondays and Tuesdays in the off season.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ServSafe-compliant kitchen
- Monitor all food production for quality, efficiency, and safety
- Support inventory tracking and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with a diverse team aged 14–60 in a fast-paced environment
- Help manage and execute coffee roasting and flavoring processes (off-season no experience necessary will train)
- Ensure quality control for both bakery and coffee products
- Contribute to a positive, problem-solving culture under high-volume conditions
Schedule & Commitment:
- Year-round position
- Full-time hours during peak summer season
- Approximately 30 hours/week in the off-season
- Must be available for Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Colombus Day Weekend
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years working in a bakery, restaurant, or food production environment
- Active ServSafe certification (required at time of application)
- Allergy Awareness certification
- CPR certification
