Sales Representative, WooSox Sales Academy
The Sales Representatives in the WooSox Sales Academy will be tasked with selling ticket plans, group outings, etc. for WooSox games at Polar Park. This key team member will focus on generating new business and creating memorable experiences for fans and their families. The club will provide this team member with the necessary tools to succeed and deliver on our high expectations at Polar Park.
Responsibilities:
- “SELL, SELL, SELL,” reaching out to Worcester Red Sox fans to offer them the best ticket plan / group experience that fits their needs
- Complete a minimum of 40 outbound phone calls per day
- Maintain organized and complete call data into CRM to maximize the team’s sales efforts
- Actively prospect new ticket sales opportunities
- Utilizing personal and professional networks to bring new groups to Polar Park
- Develop creative strategies to increase ticket sales
- Meet and exceed personal ticket sales goals
- Provide exceptional customer service leading up to, during, and following a group’s event at a WooSox home game
- Assist in working the WooSox Sales Table at WooSox home games
- Attend networking and promotional events as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Outstanding, positive attitude
- Self-starter with a desire to succeed
- Aspiration to consistently improve sales skills and process
- Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Strong leadership skills
- Willing to work nontraditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Aptitude to fully understand Score CRM, Tickets.com, DocuSign and MS Office programs
- Ability to prioritize workload while working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Problem solver with a focus on customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
This is an hourly, in-person position. A successful Sales Representative in the WooSox Sales Academy could work up to 30 hours per week.
