Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects in grid technology, including smart grids, renewable energy integration, power transmission, and distribution systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical power systems, project management expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, define scope, set objectives, and manage resources to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, regulatory bodies, and vendors to align project goals with business and industry standards.
- Budget & Risk Management: Track project budgets, forecast costs, and mitigate risks to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
- Technology Implementation: Oversee the integration of advanced grid technologies, such as smart grids, microgrids, energy storage, and renewable energy solutions.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NERC, FERC) and company policies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), report progress to stakeholders, and continuously optimize project execution strategies.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Address challenges related to power infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging grid technologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of project management experience in the power sector, renewable energy, or grid technology.
- Strong knowledge of power transmission, distribution, smart grids, and energy storage systems.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with SCADA, IoT, AI-based grid optimization, and grid automation technologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, JIRA, etc.).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
