ADMS Manager, Debris Management
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and technology-savvy ADMS Manager to oversee the implementation and management of Automatic Debris Management Systems (ADMS) for disaster recovery operations. The ADMS Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient data collection, monitoring, and reporting for debris management activities. This position requires expertise in ADMS platforms, data integration, and compliance with government guidelines to streamline debris operations and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ADMS Implementation and Oversight:
· Lead the setup, configuration, and deployment of Automatic Debris Management Systems (ADMS) for disaster recovery projects.
· Ensure ADMS platforms are properly integrated with existing workflows, including debris monitoring, site management, and contractor coordination.
· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure system reliability during operations.
2. Data Collection and Integration:
· Manage real-time data collection from field teams, GPS-enabled equipment, and contractors through the ADMS platform.
· Oversee the integration of ADMS data with other tools, including GIS software, financial systems, and reporting tools.
· Ensure accurate tracking of debris volumes, types, transport routes, and processing activities, providing daily tracking of trucks and cubic yards
3. Reporting and Compliance:
· Generate detailed reports on debris operations, including daily progress, costs, and contract-required documentation.
· Ensure all data captured through the ADMS is contract-compliant and meets federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
· Prepare data for audits, reimbursement claims, and post-disaster reviews.
4. Team Training and Support:
· Train field staff, contractors, and stakeholders on the use of ADMS platforms and related technologies.
· Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to ensure efficient system use and data entry accuracy.
5. Operational Coordination:
· Collaborate with debris monitoring teams, contractors, and emergency management agencies to optimize data workflows and reporting.
· Assist in planning and optimizing debris management routes, TDSR site operations, and resource allocation using ADMS insights.
Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Environmental Science, Emergency Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
· Advanced degrees or certifications in data management or GIS are a plus.
Experience:
· At least 2 years of experience in disaster recovery, debris management, or data systems administration.
· Hands-on experience with Automatic Debris Management Systems (e.g., Tetra Tech, DMS Systems, or proprietary platforms).
· Familiarity with debris management guidelines and Public Assistance programs is strongly preferred.
Certifications:
· Debris Management Training Certificate (preferred).
· Relevant IT certifications (e.g., GIS Professional, Esri certifications, or database management) are an advantage.
Skills:
· Proficiency with ADMS platforms and related tools (e.g., GPS technology, GIS software, and databases).
· Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
· Effective communication skills to train staff and present findings to stakeholders.
Work Conditions:
· Frequent travel to disaster-affected areas to oversee ADMS deployment and operations.
· Flexible schedule, including long hours during active disaster recovery periods.
· Work in both office and field environments.
· You will work outdoors in hazardous areas and in proximity of heavy machinery such as dump trucks and debris loading equipment
· Working hours may range from 10-14 hours per day, potentially seven days a week
· Training and safety equipment will be provided to those who meet qualifications
Employment Type:
Full-time or contract position, depending on operational requirements.
Salary Range:
$80,000–$110,000 annually (or hourly equivalent $38.50-52.00), depending on experience and qualifications.
