Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support to our valued clients. You will work closely with customers to diagnose and resolve a variety of IT issues, ensuring their systems are running smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service: Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software problems, including but not limited to:
- Windows operating systems
- Network connectivity issues
- Software installations and updates
- Printer and peripheral device problems
- Basic IP camera troubleshooting and camera software troubleshooting
- Basic Windows server knowledge and Active Directory
- Implement and maintain IT infrastructure: Assist with network configurations, security assessments, and system upgrades.
- Perform preventative maintenance: Conduct regular system checks and perform proactive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Document all service activities: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including customer interactions and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in professional development: Stay current on the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Cyber Security Understanding: We offer a range of Cyber solutions for a customer, so a basic understanding is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills: Proven experience with Windows operating systems, basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and common software applications.
- Excellent customer service skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to explain technical issues in clear and concise terms to non-technical users.
- Positive and professional attitude: A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A Certification (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to Multi-Task
