What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at WTB?
BASIC PURPOSE SUMMARY:
Ensure WTB staff compliance with all company’s polices and safety procedures when entering or leaving the yard.
CHARACTERISTIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide field units (Crew) with information about job call-out and requirements for the necessary tools that may be needed including field ticket.
· Work with the operations unit to put up crew for field job.
· Provide courtesy calls to all field employees prior to arrival and while out on location.
· Ensure field tickets are properly verified when turned in by field employees before they leave.
· Communicate with Yard supervisor and all unit heads on outgoing and incoming jobs as received from operations unit with proper documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 years’ experience in a similar line of work.
License/Certification: None required.
RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS:
Knowledge of the practices and procedures of communication by standard radio and telephone equipment.
Knowledge of office procedures and practices. Knowledge of principles of good speech and the ability to speak clearly and distinctly. Ability to make decisions in accordance with established rules and regulations. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority.
